OJ prices on the rise...beware of BOGO OJ deals

After many years of stagnant Orange Juice prices, OJ manufacturers have decided to bump up their OJ prices. Already faced with a couple increases the last few months, consumers will be faced with another 4 to 8 percent increase by Tropicana today, 1/1/2007. Bah.

All told, OJ prices have increased around 20% in the last year. Note that OJ prices for a 640z carton are now $5.59 or so in CA as opposed to $4.89 or so in the past.

So BOGO free OJ deals are now worse than the 2 for $5 offers that you might see.

Darn those hurricanes.
