Save with Google Checkout

Looks like Google has rolled out an online payment system similar to paypal.

Google Checkout

And right now, they are offering $10 off $20 purchases at a number of stores:

Starbucks Store Coupon code: c96924
Jockey Coupon code: jockeyg
eCost Coupon code: ecost10off
CD Universe Coupon code: gbuy10
CSN Rugs Coupon code: g10csn
DVD Empire Coupon code: 1167311
All Childrens Furniture Coupon code: g10csn
Magazines.com Coupon code: google10
Football Fanatics Coupon code: googleff123321
Racks and Stands Coupon code: g10csn
Select Blinds Coupon code: google10
CSN Lighting Coupon code: g10csn
Golf Balls.com Coupon code: googlegolf
Best Buy Eye Glasses Coupon code: gog10d
Improvement Direct Coupon code: googpay
(one redemption per store)

And if you have a citibank credit card, you can get $5-$10 off your first purchase by registering your card.

So for me, I just renewed my Sports Illustrated subscription.
Steps:
1) Sign up for Google Checkout
2) Register my citi card
3) Go to Magazines.com through fatwallet.com (fatwallet has a 25% off link).
4) Get 1 yr Sports Illustrated plus free fleece blanket, for $39.99 - $10 = $29.99 - 25% = $22.49 - $5 = $17.49

Not too shabby.

Other ideas...Go get a DVD you've always wanted. Or a video game.

Free 12 packs of coke and pepsi after rebate

Safeway is advertising a deal where you buy 4 packs of Coke for $11, and at the register you will get a rebate to mail in to give yourself $11 back.
CRV and tax still apply.

Same deal available for Pepsi, but I do not believe you can mix the two products.

Eastbay F&F sale (30%) + Gift Card 20%

So I mentioned the Gift Card earlier.

There's a new code for the 20% towards GC purchase that lasts until the end of today (Monday). Code is EM016GX3.

Now, the best thing is that come 6/15 and 6/16, there will be a Friends and Family sale where you get 30% off. Code is LKS16CF6

Let's say you get a $100 GC. That costs you only $80.
Then you want to buy an item that is $142. With 30% off it's only going to cost you $100. Which is how much your GC is worth.
So you can get a $142 item for $80. Nice...44% off.

Get the GC now and reap the rewards!

Sports Basement $10 coupon and 10% off! ( til 7/31)

Big thanks to RNT for this heads up.

Sports Basement (one in Sunnyvale) has a sweet coupon offer up at valpak.com. $10 off + 10% off your purchase. No minimum as RNT has redeemed it on items that cost $3.00 after savings (perhaps minimum is $10).

Anyway to redeem, go to Valpak.com and enter your zipcode. Then enter sports in the search field. If you don't see Sports Basement, then try 95054 as the zip code.

This could be great for cheap $15 items.

Edit: Looks like this is only good for the Sunnyvale one.

Use code, DVDTALK, or USATODAY, or SUMMERSALE Deep Discount DVD

This runs through 6/17

As always, sanity check it against Amazon or Pricegrabber

Got free coke? Make some money!

This deal is good through Tuesday and requires a Safeway card, and a Coke Rewards 5 free 2 liter bottles of coke products coupon.

Go to Safeway and pick up your free coke. That'll cost you $1.33 + tax + CRV - $1.33.

So tax + CRV = roughly $0.11 + $0.08. = $0.19
So that's $0.95 if you try to redeem your coupon for 5 2 liter coke bottles.
However, this week until Tuesday, if you use your Safeway card, you get $1.00 off anytime you purchase 5 2 liter bottles of coke.

$0.95 - $1.00 = -$0.05 => You earn 5 cents! AND you get 5 2 liter bottles of coke.

Here's where the deal can get better.
#1) Purchase only sprite. Sprite costs $0.79 this week. So 6.6 cents tax per bottle. ~ 15 cents per bottle. => make $0.25 per coupon. Wooooooo. =) (Note, if you are in WA, this may be even better.

#2) On Coca Cola bottles (not sprite), you can find many with the Coke Rewards codes. So if you go with Coca Cola, then you could be on your way to that new PS2! =)

Note, make sure you buy something else as many stores do not like just giving you money. Perhaps 5 cans of pringles at $5.00 total - $1.00 instant savings from Safeway for purchase of 5 cans.

Note, purchase limited to 2 $1.00 savings.
